Job Requirements
- Managing day-to-day bar operations, inventory, and ordering
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising bar staff
- Ensuring consistent beverage quality, presentation, and speed of service
- Maintaining compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Driving guest engagement through outstanding service and island-inspired experiences
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment
- Prior bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Valid Florida Responsible Alcohol Vendor / Server Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Working knowledge of Florida alcohol laws and safe alcohol service practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills
- Proven ability to manage inventory, costs, and labor effectively
- Commitment to excellent guest service and attention to detail
