Job Requirements

  • Managing day-to-day bar operations, inventory, and ordering
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising bar staff
  • Ensuring consistent beverage quality, presentation, and speed of service
  • Maintaining compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
  • Driving guest engagement through outstanding service and island-inspired experiences

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations
  • Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment
  • Prior bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
  • Valid Florida Responsible Alcohol Vendor / Server Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Working knowledge of Florida alcohol laws and safe alcohol service practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, costs, and labor effectively
  • Commitment to excellent guest service and attention to detail
