Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort prides itself on creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere, where both guests and employees enjoy a dynamic and engaging environment. With a focus on quality service and operational excellence, the resort employs a dedicated team focused on delivering memorable experiences for every visitor.
The role offered is for a Bar Back position, which is integral to supporting the bar staff and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service. As a Bar Back, the individual will be responsible for handling various duties including stocking supplies, maintaining sanitation standards, assisting bartenders, and interacting positively with guests and staff alike. This position contributes significantly to customer satisfaction by ensuring that bar operations run efficiently and effectively.
The Bar Back works closely with both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams, which can include up to 40 staff members per shift, fostering a cooperative and professional work environment. Communication skills are critical, as the Bar Back must promptly inform supervisors of any significant matters and take corrective actions when directed. The Bar Back is also responsible for ensuring that safety and security procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
This position offers a target hourly wage of $12.50, reflective of an entry-level to mid-level role within the hospitality industry. It is a mostly indoor job with climate control but does include occasional outdoor tasks and exposure to typical bar environment elements like noise, smoke, and odors. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience in the hospitality sector, particularly within the casino and resort industry, and who possess a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service. At Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort, employees are encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions that enhance workplace morale and operational effectiveness, providing a supportive atmosphere for career growth and development.
