The position available is an on-call Bar Back role at BXP Restaurant Bar, located at 200 Clarendon Street, Boston, MA. This position offers an on-call schedule from Monday through Friday with variable hours. Applicants receive the benefit of a competitive pay range between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry who have prior bartending or catering service experience. The role entails supporting bartenders by replenishing liquor, beer, and wine supplies, maintaining bar cleanliness, and assisting with bar operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. As a Bar Back, you will be responsible for the daily management of beverage inventory and maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the bar area. You will assist in opening and closing bar areas, support bartenders by preparing and serving beverages when required, and ensure that equipment like beer taps are functioning properly. Maintaining a tidy and well-organized bar environment by cleaning surfaces, floors, and disposing of rubbish is also a critical component of the role.
