We specialize in providing a vibrant atmosphere where customers can enjoy a wide selection of beverages, including wine, champagne, beer, and carefully crafted cocktails. Known for our commitment to brand standards and exceptional customer satisfaction, we operate in a fast-paced setting where the quality of service and attention to detail are paramount. As a key part of our hospitality team, we uphold rigorous health department standards to ensure a spotless and welcoming ambiance for all patrons. With a lively and friendly atmosphere, we prioritize teamwork and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency throughout the venue.
The Bar Back role is essential to our bar’s seamless operation and guest satisfaction. This position involves providing friendly and excellent service to every guest while ensuring the bar area is consistently clean and fully stocked. The Bar Back supports bartenders and cocktail servers by preparing bar recipes according to brand specifications and anticipated business volume, maintaining proper frozen mug rotation, and handling the detailed cleaning of bar equipment such as balones, soccer balls, spouts, magnets, and chill sticks. Additionally, this role includes clearing used glassware promptly, wiping down tables when servers are unavailable, and managing trash and cleaning duties to uphold health standards. The Bar Back is responsible for checking the glass washer's chemical mixture and volume to maintain cleanliness and safety. Managing inventory is a critical part of the job, which involves placing orders for beverages and perishables at the start of shifts, receiving and stocking products according to specifications, and ensuring server wells are stocked with necessary supplies. The role also requires preparing fruit and condiment caddies and organizing storage and pump rooms to company standards. Physical demands include long periods of standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, while the work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels. This position requires the employee to be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma preferred, and certifications such as a liquor license and food server certificate are mandatory. Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are also needed to effectively interact with our diverse clientele. Overall, the Bar Back is a pivotal member of our hospitality team, contributing to a clean, efficient, and customer-focused bar experience that keeps guests returning and staff working smoothly.
