Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • basic computer skills including email and electronic time-clocks
  • five years culinary experience preferred
  • possession of Tulsa County Food Handler's Card
  • ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test
  • ability to obtain gaming license when required

Job Duties

  • Ability to produce a quality product on a consistent basis
  • conceptual understanding of advanced cooking skills
  • knowledge of knife usage and all sanitation and safety requirements
  • prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and reception buffet items per production orders under the direction of the Banquet Chef
  • ensure timely food preparation for event setups as established by the Executive Chef
  • perform quality taste checks on food items
  • maintain working knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation
  • manage banquet kitchen operations with minimal supervision
  • maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen equipment, walk-ins, utensils, and work areas
  • ensure proper food labeling, dating, and rotation following First In First Out
  • follow directions and execute parties as instructed by the Banquet Chef
  • clean equipment to maintain longevity
  • maintain professional appearance at all times
  • manage and supervise culinary and other staff as required
  • assume and perform other duties as assigned
