This opportunity is for a bartending position within a hotel or resort environment, offering an hourly wage of $16.90. The role is central to creating a high-energy, enjoyable atmosphere for guests, combining speed and efficiency with a friendly, professional demeanor. The bartender will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including traditional cocktails and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes and maintaining strict portion control. Staff working in this role will be trained and required to comply with food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service certifications such as TIPS. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be used as required, alongside adherence to safety policies including the hotel’s Hazardous Material program.

- At least two years of bartending experience
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- knowledge of hotel service standards

- ability to use POS and telephone systems

- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- valid Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain

Job Qualifications
- Two years bartending experience preferably in a hotel or resort environment
- strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation and hotel service standards

- knowledge of applicable health standards and laws regarding alcohol service to minors and intoxicated patrons
Job Duties
- Prepares drinks for guests and servers following standard recipes and practicing portion control
- provides guests a fun and high-energy dining experience while maintaining professionalism
- maintains daily bar setup including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- describes wines, beers, and spirits and makes recommendations
- handles cash, charge, room and credit card transactions accurately and balances bank at end of shift
- follows all food handling, sanitation, TIPS and health department guidelines
- wears non-slip, oil-resistant shoes and follows all safety policies and procedures
- maintains cleanliness of the bar area and disposes of waste
- ensures minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- provides inventory and fills out requisitions
- notifies management of unsafe conditions and accidents
- resolves guest complaints within scope of authority and reports unusual incidents to management or security
- reports to work on time and regularly as an essential job function
