Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in banqueting and restaurant events
  • ability to generate minimum $15 million in annual event revenue
  • must be flexible to work nights and weekends
  • proficient knowledge of restaurant management systems
  • strong business and financial acumen
  • fluency in English
  • Spanish knowledge highly preferred
  • bachelor's degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in banqueting, restaurant events, and hospitality
  • proven track record generating $15 million+ annual event revenue
  • strong business and financial acumen
  • proficiency in restaurant management systems and processes
  • fluency in English, Spanish knowledge highly preferred
  • exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • lead management team and team members to deliver consistent, memorable hospitality moments
  • collaborate with management to monitor guest feedback and improve experiences
  • work closely with sales team to align culinary excellence with event success
  • partner with Director of Sales for business development and achieving sales goals
  • coordinate with Facilities Manager and Chef for event setup and schedules
  • conduct weekly management meetings and track progress
  • ensure seamless event execution with Culinary & Operations Team
  • provide positive and constructive feedback to build a high-performing team
  • foster partnership with Chef de Cuisine for goal alignment
  • coach and guide all team members with development opportunities
  • focus on diversity, inclusion, and belonging in team growth
  • recruit, train, and retain hospitality professionals
  • balance operational and administrative responsibilities with sound judgment
  • build operational excellence through clear roles and efficient systems
  • collaborate with Home Office departments for company-wide initiatives
  • build trusting relationships with USHG Leaders
