Job Requirements
- minimum of three years of event management experience with supervisory responsibilities
- hospitality or events experience preferred
- strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
- professional positive and service-oriented demeanor
- flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- familiarity with audio/visual equipment
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs

Job Duties
- serve as the main point of contact for all events ensuring plans are executed flawlessly and guest satisfaction is achieved
- support ongoing event and banquet sales efforts by promoting available services and offerings
- assist in the planning and execution of all events
- coordinate menus event details and room diagrams for functions
- develop detailed event execution plans and communicate effectively across departments
- meet regularly with leadership to review upcoming events
- track event changes and communicate updates impacting staffing and setup
- collaborate with culinary leadership on menu updates to reflect trends and client preferences
- train and lead event service staff to maintain high service standards
- develop and manage the annual budget in coordination with senior leadership
