The Food and Beverage Banquet Supervisor role at Legends Global is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. This pivotal role supervises day-to-day food service operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless event execution and superior guest experience. The supervisor leads a team of banquet servers including part-time and temporary staff, welcoming guests courteously while adhering to established guest relations policies. This position assists in strategic planning, scheduling, and monitoring all service aspects aligned with scheduled events. Responsibilities extend from pre-event coordination with the food and beverage team and executive chef to managing event service quality and post-event duties such as consumption reporting and staff performance feedback. The supervisor also plays a critical role in maintaining equipment and inventory, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and upholding operational standards through the development of procedures and staff training. This multifaceted role demands outstanding guest service abilities, strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will actively foster a positive, productive work atmosphere while stepping into the Food and Beverage Manager’s responsibilities in their absence. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year's work experience as a supervisor in a similar environment
- Thorough knowledge of catering services and terminology
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude
- Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside vendors while working under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to acquire Serv Safe Allergan, Serv Safe Alcohol, and Food Handler's Certifications within 6 months of employment

Job Duties
- Assist in the development of pre-event plans regarding service arrangements, staffing levels, section assignments, side work and equipment requirements
- Consult with the Executive Chef to review Banquet Event Orders for menu, delivery timing and special requests
- Assist in pre-function meetings for briefing event details with staff
- Oversee event set-ups according to client specifications, assist Servers as needed
- Inspect function space to ensure cleanliness, organization and ambiance
- Manage guest and employee concerns and complaints and resolve problems within authority
- Observe served products to ensure correct garnish and arrangement
- Take orders, expedite products, make deliveries, and serve guests as needed
- Maintain Consumption Sheets for each event
- Ensure all closing duties are completed before staff sign out and paperwork is complete
- Provide feedback on staff performance and assist in counseling employees
- Notify Food & Beverage Manager of all pertinent information and irregularities during shifts
- Maintain excellent working relationships with other facility staff including Executive Chef, kitchen staff, operations teams, and catering sales
- Perform Server and Bartender duties as required
- Document and notify low product supplies
- Assist in Food & Beverage inventory counts and controls
- Organize, clean, and maintain Food & Beverage equipment before, during and after events
- Ensure equipment storerooms are clean, organized and secure
- Initiate and follow opening and closing procedures to ensure area security and energy efficiency
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and staff training
- Participate in facility event planning meetings
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate maximizing productivity and employee morale
