Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in catering or banquet production
  • 1 to 2 years in a managerial position
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in luxury catering or high-volume banquet production
  • 1 to 2 years in a similar managerial role
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent customer service skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn club operating software
  • Experience working closely with executive management and sales teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food inventory and costing procedures

Job Duties

  • Flawlessly execute banquet and catering events including member, golf, corporate, and social functions
  • Review banquet event orders daily and communicate changes to kitchen staff
  • Plan, organize, control, direct, and supervise the banquet kitchen team
  • Maintain updated and accurate recipes and costing for all banquet dishes
  • Coordinate banquet production and plating with Executive Chef, Pastry Chef, Sous Chefs, and Banquet Captains
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of banquet kitchen areas to ensure quality and operational standards
  • Assist in planning banquet menus, controlling inventory, and managing food purchasing
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to kitchen staff, participating in hiring and employee development
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and equipment maintenance protocols
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members and management
