Job Description
Pyramid Global Hospitality is a premier hospitality management company with an extensive portfolio that includes over 200 hotels and resorts and employs more than 18,000 associates across the United States, Caribbean, and Europe. The company's platform is made up of Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, which offers a collection of distinctive independent properties; Axiom Hospitality, a European hotel management entity; and PYRAMIDWORKS, which specializes in integrated workplace and facilities services. With corporate offices strategically located in Boston, The Woodlands, Texas, and London, Pyramid is known for blending global reach with a hands-on approach that prioritizes exceptional service, operational excellence, and the cultivation of enduring partnerships.
At Pyramid Global Hospitality, people are the cornerstone of the organization. The company is deeply committed to fostering a respectful, supportive, and empowering work environment where associates can thrive and advance their careers. Employees benefit from opportunities to collaborate with experienced leaders, engage in meaningful stretch assignments, and gain diverse exposure to various property types, brands, and markets. Whether just starting a career in hospitality or bringing a wealth of experience, team members are encouraged to learn, grow, and make substantial contributions to the company’s success.
The company’s dedication to its associates, guests, owners, and the communities it serves has garnered widespread recognition. Pyramid and its affiliated properties consistently rank among the most prestigious in the hospitality industry. Accolades include being named among the best places to work by major publications such as USA Today, The Boston Globe, and The Houston Chronicle. Additionally, the company has earned top travel awards from Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Forbes Travel Guide, and U.S. News & World Report, reflecting the culture of excellence and service that define the Pyramid experience.
The current opportunity is with The Lytle Park Hotel, an Autograph Collection property located in Cincinnati. This hotel is set on a mission to redefine hospitality by blending timeless classics with modern hospitality standards. The company seeks dedicated and passionate culinary professionals to join their team and contribute to this exciting transformation. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a distinctive hotel experience that stands out in the market.
In the Banquet Chef role, the successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef in planning, preparing, and executing banquet and catering menus, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This hands-on leadership position involves managing banquet culinary operations for a range of events—from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions—while supervising and coaching banquet cooks and stewards. The role requires coordinating production schedules, monitoring portion control, managing inventory, and minimizing food waste. A key focus is also placed on compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as helping develop seasonal menu offerings.
Collaborating closely with the Banquets, Sales, and Operations teams, the Banquet Chef plays a vital role in ensuring flawless event execution and contributing to the overall success of the hotel. There is also an expectation to support restaurant culinary operations when needed. This position requires flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an offered compensation range of $50,000 to $55,000 annually. Pyramid Global Hospitality values diversity and inclusivity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
