Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests accommodated
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain high sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
