In this role, the team member is responsible for facilitating food and beverage orders by efficiently taking requests and delivering items to dining room guests promptly and professionally. The position demands a high level of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions, enabling the individual to provide informed recommendations and accommodate reasonable guest requests, including those related to food allergies or special diets.
Communication plays a vital role in the success of this position, requiring direct collaboration with kitchen and back-of-the-house staff to guarantee the accuracy of orders and accommodation of special requests.
