Job Description

Invited is a prominent company in the hospitality and service industry that has been dedicated to building meaningful relationships and enhancing the lives of its members, guests, and employees since its establishment in 1957. As the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, Invited manages over 130 country, city, and athletic clubs. These clubs are renowned for their first-class amenities, which include championship golf courses, contemporary workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, advanced racquet facilities, and well-equipped fitness centers. The company prides itself on cultivating an inclusive, supportive, and professional environment that promotes teamwork and excellence among its more than 17,000 employees. This exceptional approach ensures that both members and guests experience unparalleled service and hospitality whenever they visit an Invited club.

The banquet server role at Invited plays a crucial part in delivering the outstanding food and beverage service that sets the company apart. As a banquet server, you will directly contribute to the success of various events by providing impeccable, attentive service to members and guests. The position emphasizes the importance of engaging guests through warm welcomes, creating memorable service experiences described as "magic moments," and concluding interactions with fond farewells. Your role will involve collaborating closely with fellow banquet team members to ensure every event runs smoothly and remains enjoyable for all attendees. This requires a blend of professionalism, efficiency, and a strong commitment to upholding Invited's established service standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive knowledge of menus, special event features, and dietary accommodations, all while responding proactively and attentively to guest needs and addressing any concerns with sensitivity and care.

Working under the supervision of the F&B Director, Banquet Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, the banquet server is expected to uphold service training standards and execute food and beverage orders accurately. Duties extend beyond the direct service to include preparing and setting up banquet areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization, completing daily side work like supply stocking and workspace cleaning, and supporting event setup and breakdown activities including handling table arrangements and décor. Due to the dynamic, fast-paced nature of private club events, a successful banquet server at Invited must be versatile and willing to assist colleagues and take on additional responsibilities to facilitate seamless operations. The company values employees who demonstrate initiative for ongoing personal and professional development, maintain relevant certifications, and adhere to safety guidelines to foster a secure working environment.

Invited offers competitive pay determined by a candidate's experience, skills, and education, with possible additional hours during weekends and holidays to meet event deadlines. For full-time team members, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. This comprehensive package reflects Invited's commitment to valuing and supporting its employees.
