The Banquet Mixologist role is an exciting opportunity crafted for an energetic, guest-focused professional who thrives in vibrant event settings. This position plays an integral part in curating elevated beverage experiences during private functions, celebrations, and resort events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale galas. As a Banquet Mixologist, you will be a key ambassador of Four Seasons' refined and seamless bar service standards, ensuring that every guest receives top-tier beverage service that aligns with the company’s hallmark of excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and efficiency while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and appropriate pairings. From setting up and breaking down beverage stations to collaborating with banquet captains, event managers, and service staff, you will contribute to the flawless execution of all banquet events. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 21 and legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous bartending experience
  • Knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and mixology trends
  • Proficiency with MICROS point-of-sale systems or similar
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Prior banquet or events experience is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience, preferably in a luxury resort, hotel, or upscale event environment
  • Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current mixology trends
  • Proficiency with MICROS point-of-sale systems or similar restaurant software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident, sociable presence
  • Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to perform well independently or in a team
  • Prior banquet or events experience is preferred

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain deep knowledge of all beverages offered, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and recommended pairings
  • Set up and break down beverage stations for events, ensuring tools, mixers, and garnishes are fully stocked
  • Collaborate with banquet captains, event managers, and service staff to ensure seamless event execution
  • Address guest concerns or specific requests with diplomacy, delivering outcomes that exceed expectations
  • Follow hygiene standards, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times
  • Support additional food and beverage outlets as needed, including assisting with pool bar service
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar environment throughout the shift
