The Banquet Houseman role is critical within the catering and events team, focusing on preparing event spaces and providing exceptional support to ensure each event runs smoothly. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong teamwork to execute the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet and catering equipment.

As a Banquet Houseman, you will be responsible for organizing and transporting furniture and equipment, managing linens, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of all event spaces and storage areas. You will work collaboratively with catering supervisors and servers to deliver flawless event execution. Physical stamina and the ability to safely handle heavy items up to 100 pounds are essential, as the job involves significant physical activity such as lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Your efforts will directly contribute to creating high-quality guest experiences at one of the most iconic venues, the Cowboys Club at AT&T Stadium. This on-site role demands flexibility with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift push pull and transport up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand walk bend stoop climb and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret event floor plans
  • Ability to follow supervisor direction
  • Must maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene
  • Must be physically capable of safely handling heavy items and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be dependable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lift push pull and transport up to 100 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand walk bend stoop climb and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret event floor plans
  • Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards
  • Willingness to exceed guest expectations and contribute to a high-performance team environment
  • Prior banquet or event setup experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down event spaces including placement and removal of furniture staging and equipment according to event floor plans
  • Count transport and distribute equipment such as tables chairs rolling bars china silverware glassware and other service items
  • Manage linen distribution storage and return
  • Clean polish and maintain banquet equipment including tables chairs bars china glassware and silverware
  • Ensure catering storage areas are organized clean and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Assist with bussing tables and replenishing items as needed during events
  • Perform side work and general cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety standards
