Our establishment is a premier banquet and event hosting venue located in Lexington, KY, at 1815 Richmond Road. We specialize in providing memorable event experiences through impeccable service and attention to detail. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every event, from weddings and corporate functions to community gatherings, is executed flawlessly with a focus on customer satisfaction and seamless operations. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional and welcoming atmosphere for guests and event organizers alike.\n\nWe are currently seeking a motivated Banquet Set Up Person to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to the success of our banquet and event operations. The Banquet Set Up Person will be responsible for the physical setup and teardown of event spaces, including moving furniture, arranging tables, chairs, chafing dishes, plates, and all other facets related to the event setup. They play a critical role in ensuring that each event station and table are prepared to perfection before service, maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the event, and assisting with food execution, bussing, and cleanup post-event. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, take initiative, and efficiently manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.\n\nThe role involves both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as holidays and weekends. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times during a shift and have strong organizational skills to keep banquet storage areas neat and orderly. Working closely with the Event Coordinator and Director of Events, the Banquet Set Up Person ensures that each function is executed smoothly from initial setup through final teardown. This role is ideal for veterans, retirees, college students, or anyone looking for a reliable position in event services with competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Job Duties

  • Moving furniture
  • setting up tables, chairs, chafing dishes, plates and all facets of the event
  • tearing down and resetting for next event
  • ensure station and table set ups are complete prior to service
  • help with execution of food, bussing, clean up at the end of the shift
  • oversee assigned functions from room set up to tear down
  • maintain banquet storage areas clean and organized
