The Part-Time Banquet Dishwasher plays a vital role in the seamless operation of the hotel’s banquet and catering services. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards or refrigerators
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Keep dish-room clean and organized
  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
  • Remove trash and recycling as needed
  • Assist with cleaning banquet and kitchen areas following events
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  • Support the banquet and culinary teams as needed to ensure successful events
