Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar cooking or food preparation role preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and prepare high-quality dishes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, handle complex recipes, and oversee stations, execution, quality control and inventory checks
  • Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards
  • Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate timing and plating, manage and direct cooks during shifts, assist with inventory checks, ordering, shift briefings and special features
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
