Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday
  • Availability to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow safety standards at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary experience in large-scale food preparation preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing menu needs and dietary restrictions
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Experience in managing or coordinating a kitchen team is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with clients or event planners to create suitable menus
  • Prepare and oversee large quantities of food for events
  • Manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, presentation, and food safety standards
  • Adapt recipes and portion sizes to event requirements
  • Communicate effectively with catering managers, chefs, and staff
  • Handle stress and pressure during high-demand events
