The Banquet Cook position at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is a vital role within the culinary team, responsible for preparing and coordinating the food service for large-scale events such as banquets, weddings, conferences, and other gatherings. This is a part-time role that demands a culinary professional who excels in both the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in large quantities. The candidate will collaborate closely with event planners and clients to design menus that suit a variety of occasions while accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions.

Key responsibilities of the Banquet Cook include menu planning tailored to the specifics of each event; preparing extensive food quantities ahead of the event to ensure timely and efficient service delivery; managing kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during high-volume food preparation; and upholding rigorous quality control standards, ensuring every dish meets established criteria for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Adaptability is essential in this role, as banquet cooks often need to adjust recipes and portion sizes according to the event size and guest count. Effective communication skills are also crucial for collaborating with catering managers, other chefs, and service staff to coordinate efforts seamlessly and resolve any issues that may arise throughout the event. The position requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during high-demand events, while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and culinary excellence.
