Additionally, their properties have received top travel awards from Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes Travel Guide, and U.S. News & World Report.

La Quinta Resort and Club, part of the Pyramid portfolio, is distinguished as one of the best employers in La Quinta, California. Its success is built upon a culture that emphasizes personal development, people-first values, and a collective desire for everyone’s success. The resort offers comprehensive benefit plans including 401k with company match and lucrative bonus programs. The team at La Quinta strives to create memorable guest experiences so that guests want to come to the resort, not just pass through it. The role available is for a Chef de Partie, a crucial leadership position within the culinary team at La Quinta Resort and Club. This is a full-time role with a competitive wage of $24.00 per hour. This role requires hands-on involvement in all aspects of daily kitchen operations including supervising food production, adhering to established recipes and portion standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

The successful candidate must thrive in a high-volume professional kitchen environment and possess strong culinary skills with a passion for fostering the growth of others. They will demonstrate creativity and professionalism by executing seasonal menus aligned with the restaurant’s concept and quality expectations. Responsibilities also include coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, minimizing food waste, and upholding a clean and safe kitchen environment. Exceptional knowledge of food allergens, safe handling procedures, and cross-contact prevention is essential. The Chef de Partie will also support banquet and special event culinary production and maintain professional communication with guests and team members alike.

Joining the culinary team at La Quinta Resort and Club offers the opportunity to develop skills, work alongside experienced leaders, and contribute to a team dedicated to culinary excellence and memorable guest experiences.
