Job Requirements
- Leadership experience in a professional banquet kitchen
- Ability to partner collaboratively with executive chefs and various departments
- Experience planning and executing large-scale banquet events
- Strong control over food and labor costs
- Ability to organize and manage scheduling and ordering effectively
- Knowledge of garde manger, savory cooking, and pastry
- Willingness to engage in cooking demos, classes, or media appearances
- Culinary degree preferred

- Culinary degree preferred
- Proven leadership experience in a high-end hotel or resort banquet kitchen generating over 4 million in annual banquet and catering revenue
- Skilled in garde manger, savory cooking, and some pastry
- Strong menu planning and organizational skills
- Ability to execute multiple events simultaneously while maintaining quality
- Experience with birchstreet inventory and ordering is a plus
- Offsite catering and media presentation experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the executive chef and other departments including catering, sales, and customer service to execute high-quality banquet events
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff in a professional banquet kitchen environment
- Plan and organize menu items including garde manger, savory dishes, and pastry elements for multiple simultaneous events
- Monitor and control food and labor costs, including scheduling and ordering supplies appropriately
- Ensure exceptional food quality and presentation standards are maintained for all events
- Develop prep lists and workflow plans to guarantee timely and efficient event execution
- Handle offsite catering setup and execution when required
