The resort is a hub for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and memorable celebrations, offering a range of amenities including pools, fitness centers, and banquet facilities. It prides itself on community involvement and investing in the professional development of its team members to foster both individual and organizational growth.
The resort serves both local and visiting guests with top-tier hospitality, combining the charm of a welcoming environment with the efficiency and professionalism expected of a premier property. Their dining offerings, including Batley’s Grill & Bar, complement their wide array of conference and event services, ensuring guests have gourmet and satisfying culinary experiences during their stay.
The Banquet Cook/Chef role at Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center is a part-time position primarily scheduled on weekends with a flexible shift pattern to meet varying event demands. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality food preparation and presentation for a variety of events — from intimate weddings to large corporate banquets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare dishes that meet exacting standards of flavor, appearance, and timely delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative kitchen team, contributing creativity and adaptability to event menu planning and execution. A key element of the role includes maintaining strict sanitary and safety standards within the kitchen, ensuring that all regulations are adhered to, and that the work environment is positive and efficient. The candidate will be involved in inventory management and the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, ensuring every detail contributes to an outstanding guest experience.
By joining the banquet kitchen team, culinary professionals have access to a host of team member perks such as discounted hotel stays, team swim days, access to the hotel fitness center, holiday pay, paid time off (after one year of employment at 20+ hours per week), 401K retirement plans, and supplemental insurance options. This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about culinary arts who want to grow their career within a dynamic, reputable hospitality organization. The Banquet Cook/Chef position not only hones cooking skills in a fast-paced setting but also offers a chance to be part of a community-focused team that values each member’s contribution and development.
