Job Description

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, is a distinguished luxury resort located in the heart of Napa Valley's southern wine-growing region. Spanning over 700 acres of scenic vineyards and farmland, the resort offers a unique blend of natural beauty, timeless craftsmanship, and refined elegance. As part of the prestigious Auberge Collection portfolio, Stanly Ranch embodies the essence of authentic Napa culture and casual luxury, inviting guests to immerse themselves in an exceptional experience that harmonizes nature, history, and modern comforts.

The resort boasts 135 exquisite cottage-style guestrooms and suites, each designed with airy and open spaces featuring outdoor terraces with fire pits and breathtaking views of the Mayacamas Mountains. Guests can indulge in a range of exclusive amenities including Halehouse, an Auberge spa that offers targeted wellness treatments, and three distinct dining venues such as Bear, a restaurant honoring local farmers and makers through thoughtful, farm-to-table cuisine. Additionally, Stanly Ranch offers immersive experiences perfect for discerning travelers looking to connect with wine country’s rich heritage and vibrant community.

This exciting role is a pivotal opportunity for a culinary professional to join the Stanly Ranch team as a Banquet Chef. The position offers an annual salary of $105,000, reflecting the importance of this leadership role. Reporting directly to the executive chef, the Banquet Chef will play a critical role in shaping the culinary direction of banquet events and ensuring that each guest encounter is memorable and elevated through exceptional food and service.

The Banquet Chef will work closely with the executive chef and banquet manager to design banquet menus that are creative, delicious, and tailored to client needs, including dietary restrictions and event themes. This position requires a detailed focus on the preparation, cooking, and presentation of banquet dishes, with an emphasis on maintaining quality standards and consistency. Furthermore, the Banquet Chef will manage daily kitchen operations during banquet events, including staff scheduling, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities also include training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, and coordinating food service timing to guarantee a smooth and seamless guest experience. Inventory management will be crucial in this role to minimize waste and prevent shortages, thereby supporting operational efficiency and cost control.

Stanly Ranch, part of the wider Friedkin family of global brands, upholds a commitment to excellence and innovation. The resort offers a vibrant and supportive environment where creativity, professionalism, and a passion for culinary arts are highly valued. Joining Stanly Ranch means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to delivering unparalleled guest experiences in one of the world’s most sought-after luxury destinations. This position offers an opportunity to advance your culinary career within a prestigious hospitality brand that celebrates authentic place-based experiences and exceptional service.
