Job Description

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, nestled in the breathtaking north Georgia foothills, began its journey in 1981 with the planting of lush vineyards. Over the years, it has blossomed into an extensive 3,500-acre conference and leisure destination, widely recognized for blending luxury with the natural beauty of its surroundings. As a renowned luxury resort, Chateau Elan prides itself on offering guests exceptional levels of product quality and service, consistently striving to surpass expectations. This commitment stems from the exceptional dedication and pride of its associates, who play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. The resort's culture fosters a dynamic and engaging environment, seeking individuals with personality, energy, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment. Associates benefit from continuous training and development, empowering them to enhance their skills and contribute meaningfully to the resort’s success.

Currently, Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is inviting passionate candidates to join their team as Banquet Captains. This role is instrumental in leading the banquet service team to provide top-tier guest experiences during various banquet functions. The position involves substantial responsibility, including ensuring the smooth execution of banquet event orders, overseeing room setups, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating effectively with group representatives and internal departments. The Banquet Captain functions not only as a leader but also actively participates in the service process, from setup to guest greetings, serving, and function breakdowns. Additionally, this role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of menu offerings and the ability to communicate detailed information about each item's ingredients and preparation methods to guests and staff.

Chateau Elan emphasizes an inclusive hiring practice. Even if candidates do not meet every single requirement, the resort encourages applications, valuing diversity and the unique strengths each individual may bring. Military experience is also highly respected and welcomed within the applicant pool.

This position does not include eligibility for tips or discretionary performance bonuses, but it offers access to numerous benefits designed to promote physical, mental, and financial well-being. Employees can enjoy competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance programs supported by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and EyeMed, along with vacation, sick leave, and holiday programs that ensure work-life balance. Additionally, there are pet insurance options, supplemental life insurance, disability plans, and a 401(k) savings plan with matching funds. Staff discounts on hotel stays, spa services, golf, dining, and retail are also provided, along with the YouDecide® discount program that offers various savings on travel, entertainment, electronics, and other services. Chateau Elan is committed to fostering a rich workplace culture where associates are valued, developed, and rewarded for their contributions to building a special place known for luxury service and guest satisfaction.
