The company offers an extensive platform covering venue development and comprehensive capabilities in venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG manages a portfolio of seven world-class venues and partners with some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide, spanning four continents. The company is dedicated to enhancing live event experiences through a commitment to innovation, excellence, and guest satisfaction.

One of OVG's notable collaborations is with The Bushnell Performing Arts Center, located in Hartford, Connecticut. The Bushnell is Connecticut’s premier performing arts destination and a cornerstone of the region’s cultural heritage. Founded in 1930, this historic nonprofit venue combines timeless architectural beauty with modern amenities. It houses two distinctive performance spaces and hosts over 350 events annually, ranging from Broadway tours and concerts to comedy shows, dance performances, and community programs. As the largest arts organization in the state, The Bushnell plays a vital role in inspiring creativity, supporting arts education, and delivering world-class entertainment to diverse audiences. OVG proudly provides exclusive food and beverage services at The Bushnell, elevating the guest experience with exceptional hospitality and culinary excellence.

The Banquet Bartender role at The Bushnell is a part-time position, offering hourly compensation between $18.00 and $20.00. This role is crucial in ensuring outstanding beverage service during a variety of events including conventions, banquets, meetings, receptions, galas, and special occasions. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for the preparation and service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining compliance with responsible alcohol service regulations, and delivering a high level of guest satisfaction. This position requires efficiency in a fast-paced event environment, assuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

In this role, the Banquet Bartender will manage set-up and break-down of banquet bars, stock essential supplies such as glassware and garnishes, and operate point-of-sale systems. Strong collaboration with banquet captains, servers, culinary staff, and event management teams is mandatory to execute events flawlessly. The bartender will also maintain cleanliness and organization in bar areas, oversee inventory and restocking, and assist with post-event clean-up. The ability to verify guest age and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly is paramount for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company standards.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and guest service skills, previous bartending experience in related hospitality or event venues, and proficiency in mixing a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines. Flexibility is essential as work hours include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event schedules. Physical stamina is important since the role involves standing for long periods and carrying or lifting heavy objects. The ability to obtain alcohol service certification if not already certified is required, and food handler certification is preferred.

OVG champions diversity and inclusion, believing that a diverse workforce drives innovation and excellence while mirroring the communities it serves. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair and respectful treatment for all employees and applicants, regardless of legally protected characteristics.
