Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bakery or food service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Must have open availability to meet business needs
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety protocols
- Capability to operate bakery equipment and machinery
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Duties
- Move product filled oven racks
- Un-tray products from baking pans into packaging
- Garnish baked goods according to item requirements
- Stack used baking pans on pan dollies
- Seal and label bags and containers of baked goods according to merchandise manual
- Restock baking supplies and industrial-sized containers of ingredients
- Scale finished product and record weight on verification sheets 4 times for each item packaged
- Use racks or carts to move or stock wrapped products onto tables and pallets
- Maintain date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day
- Clean and sanitize the bakery area including bakery cooler and freezer
- Sweep, mop, spray, wash, apply cleaning agents, wipe, operate pressure washer and walk-behind scrubber
- Clean and refill mop bucket and mop head as needed
- Dismantle bakery equipment such as power mixer and muffin depositor
- Wash, rinse and sanitize removable parts in commercial dishwasher or by hand
- Wash bakery containers, pans and utensils using commercial dishwasher
- Wipe down stationary parts with cleaning agent, water and sanitizing agent
- Follow SSOP guidelines for cleaning and sanitation
- Log sanitation procedures and comply with health code
- Follow safety and security procedures and read labels for cleaning products
- Collect cardboard and trash
- Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler
- Take laundry to the service pick-up area
- Perform weekly cleaning duties
- Assist with other bakery duties as needed
- Provide prompt and courteous member service
- Complete quality assurance and food safety certification trainings
- Maintain current product knowledge and annual training
- Ensure proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials
- Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Assist in other warehouse departments as necessary
