Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
basic math skills and ability to measure ingredients accurately

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a baker or in a related food service role is highly preferred
strong knowledge of baking methods, industry standards, and food safety regulations
must possess or be willing to obtain the necessary food safety certifications
basic math and accurate counting skills are required
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods
willingness to comply with uniform policies and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Job Duties

Prepare a diverse array of baked goods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
set up your work area with all the required tools and ingredients for the baking process
assemble the ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and other essential actions
handle baking apparatus like ovens, stoves, and mixers
exercise safety measures while using kitchen tools, including knives, to prepare food safely
comply with food safety regulations for the adequate storage of food
after completion of tasks, clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils to prevent contamination
ensure top-notch customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor when assisting guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and other individuals
uphold Aramark safety policies, ensuring adherence to proper food safety and sanitation procedures
follow prescribed security protocols to guarantee the protection of company resources
