Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum of 2 years retail grocery experience
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Dependable and reliable work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Operate bakery equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- Knowledge of scales and weight measures for accurate weighing and labeling
- Familiarity with personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals
- Hold a Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain one
Job Duties
- Manage the daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products
- Supervise and monitor product quality and consistency, track inventory, and manage the bakery's budget
- Evaluate department conditions and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop improved practices and procedures
- Ensure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- Responsible for correct ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage
- Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays
- Manage department inventory, in-stocks, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operational processes
- Plan and order according to company standards to maximize sales and gross profit
- Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
- Participate in in-store meetings
- Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns
- Take and document corrective actions including coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination
- Create and adjust schedules and staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members
- Lead a team to deliver quality products and excellent customer experiences
- Serve as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed
