Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in foodservice or bakery roles
  • Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and take accountability
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license for travel to other locations if needed
  • Ability to manage up to 25 employees
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand and work in a busy bakery environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience preferably in bakery or foodservice management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and develop team members
  • Knowledge of bakery operations including baking and guest service
  • Ability to manage inventory and control costs
  • Experience with scheduling and labor management
  • Customer service excellence and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain a friendly work environment with a strong commitment to Making Genuine Connections
  • Ensure effective communication with team, area managers, owners, vendors, and guests
  • Manage onboarding and training processes and develop future leaders
  • Lead and manage a team of 15-25 employees ensuring smooth bakery operations
  • Oversee baking, frosting, utility, crafting, and guest service departments
  • Manage inventory and order supplies weekly
  • Ensure superior guest experience minimizing wait times and delivering excellent service
  • Manage bakery profitability hitting COGS and labor goals while minimizing waste
  • Spearhead marketing efforts and coordinate events
  • Complete required reports and trackers accurately
  • Manage bakery independently during shifts
  • Handle holiday and high-volume day operations
  • Demonstrate flexibility working varied shifts and locations
  • Coach team and manage fit and departures
  • Foster positive team environment and genuine connections
