The Baker's Helper role is integral to the smooth operation of our bakery department. This position focuses on assisting with various baking tasks from start to finish, including preparing dough, glazing pastries, and applying icing and glazes to finished products. Working closely with the Bakery Sales Manager, the Baker's Helper helps plan daily production schedules, gathers all necessary ingredients, and follows recipes accurately with a keen eye for detail. The role also includes monitoring oven temperatures to ensure consistent baking results and maintaining high-quality standards for all bakery offerings. Beyond the preparation and baking responsibilities, the position involves engaging with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing product information, answering any bakery-related questions, and ensuring the bakery area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bakery operations or food preparation preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong organizational skills
- basic knowledge of food safety practices
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
