Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods without sitting
- capability to lift and handle baking ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds
- proficiency in operating ovens and baking equipment
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
- capacity to work in a fast-paced busy environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and equipment
- familiarity with health and safety standards
- strong attention to detail and quality
- good time management skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- operate ovens and baking equipment ensuring correct temperatures and proper cooking
- monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage
- clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils maintaining safety and hygiene
- regularly inspect baked goods for quality meeting bakery standards in appearance texture and taste
