Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of baking experience in a commercial or retail environment
- ability to operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
- knowledge of health department regulations and food safety standards
- physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a bakery or similar food preparation environment
- knowledge of baking techniques and equipment operation
- ability to follow recipes and quality standards consistently
- understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
- monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery standards in appearance texture and taste
- adapt to changing inventory needs and production schedules
- uphold strict health department regulations and company food safety standards through proper food handling and cleanliness practices
