Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for long periods without sitting
  • capability to mold fold and elevate sizable sacks of flour sugar and other baking elements with a maximum weight of 50 pounds
  • capability to manage hot ovens and baking equipment effectively
  • required to excel in a busy and friendly workplace

Job Qualifications

  • experience in bakery or similar food production environment
  • knowledge of baking techniques and equipment operation
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and quality control
  • good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy ingredients

Job Duties

  • prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
  • operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
  • monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
  • clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance texture and taste
