Job Requirements

  • Education level high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle bakery tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain essential bakery equipment such as ovens mixers proofers and slicers following all safety and quality guidelines
  • Produce a wide variety of baked goods including breads rolls cookies pastries and custom fancy desserts and cakes
  • Decorate cakes and other specialty items to meet customer orders and display standards
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons answering questions about products and handling special requests with enthusiasm
  • Ensure that all display cases shelves and work areas are kept clean organized fully stocked and visually appealing throughout the day
  • Adhere strictly to all company food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to manage inventory production schedules and overall bakery operations
