Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
  • ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • commitment to follow food safety and sanitation standards strictly

Job Duties

  • operate and maintain essential bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and slicers following all safety and quality guidelines
  • produce a wide variety of baked goods including breads, rolls, cookies, pastries, and custom fancy desserts and cakes
  • decorate cakes and other specialty items to meet customer orders and display standards
  • provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about products, and handling special requests with enthusiasm
  • ensure that all display cases, shelves, and work areas are kept clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing throughout the day
  • adhere strictly to all company food safety and sanitation protocols
  • collaborate effectively with team members to manage inventory, production schedules, and overall bakery operations
