Starbucks Coffee Company, a global leader in the coffeehouse industry, is renowned for its commitment to quality, community, and connection. Founded with the vision to be a different kind of company, Starbucks has grown into an iconic brand that celebrates coffee culture while fostering a sense of belonging among its partners and customers alike. The Starbucks Reserve brand exemplifies this commitment by curating unique flagship locations and culinary kitchens that elevate the coffee experience through specialized offerings and artisanal craftsmanship. These Reserve Stores and Culinary Kitchens, found across the United States, are vibrant environments where innovation meets tradition, offering exclusive coffee blends and gourmet food crafted with exceptional attention to detail and quality ingredients.

The Starbucks Reserve Kitchen team plays a critical role in this unique coffee journey by preparing handcrafted, fresh food items that complement the exceptional coffee served. This team specializes in baking and culinary arts, producing pastries, cakes, artisanal breads, focaccia-style pizzas, and other high-quality baked goods that inspire and delight customers. The baker lead position within this prestigious setting is a vital leadership role that contributes significantly to the Reserve Kitchen's successes. Bakers in this role are not only skilled artisans but also leaders who guide and support their teams to maintain consistent product quality, meet production goals, and adhere to stringent food safety and sanitation standards.

As a baker lead at Starbucks Reserve Kitchen, you will oversee baking partners and kitchen team members, acting as a bridge between management and staff. This position involves supervising bakery operations during management absences, providing on-the-job training and coaching, and assisting with hiring and onboarding. Your expertise will be crucial in managing daily production schedules, assembling supplies, and ensuring all baked goods are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Precision in scaling ingredients, monitoring baking processes, and maintaining product quality is expected to deliver a remarkable guest experience consistently.

Moreover, this leadership role demands hands-on involvement in inventory management, quality control, and safety compliance, including tracking production and HACCP logs. The baker lead is responsible for reporting any defective equipment or inadequate inventory to the appropriate managers to maintain smooth operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will also contribute to inventory counts, support production planning, and perform additional duties as assigned, always embodying Starbucks' principles and commitment to service excellence.

This is a unique opportunity for passionate culinary professionals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and aspire to advance their careers within one of the most respected names in the food and beverage industry. Starbucks offers a supportive culture and extensive benefits that invest in the wellbeing and growth of its partners. Join the Starbucks Reserve Kitchen team and be part of a company that inspires with every cup and every bite. Employment is full-time and part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences using the finest ingredients and innovative techniques in a collaborative and creative setting.
