Job Description
The employer is seeking immediate hires for both full-time and part-time Baker positions at their SCAD campus location, situated at 231 West Boundary Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and equipment
- complete production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work areas
- handle food with safety and sanitation in mind
- clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally
- maintain presentation, food quality, portion control, and proper serving temperatures
- follow OSHA and corporate safety standards
- complete assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
