Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- High-volume baking experience required
- Ability to follow recipes and production standards
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Availability to work Sunday through Thursday
- Physical ability to handle baking tasks and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Complete production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low
- Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- Handle food items appropriately following all safety regulations during preparation and service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- Consistently keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
- Complete shift work as assigned in a timely and thorough manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
