Job Requirements

  • Three years of prior baking experience
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Capability to follow recipes and production requirements accurately
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness
  • Must be available for shifts and complete assigned tasks timely
  • Must follow company policies including use of required safety gear

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of prior baking experience
  • Ability to follow approved recipes and production specifications
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • Experience in maintaining production records and waste tracking
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards and equipment use
  • Assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
  • Inform supervisor when supplies are low
  • Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
  • Handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
  • Relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors
  • Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
  • Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
