Job Requirements
- Three years of prior baking experience
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Capability to follow recipes and production requirements accurately
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness
- Must be available for shifts and complete assigned tasks timely
- Must follow company policies including use of required safety gear
Job Qualifications
- Three years of prior baking experience
- Ability to follow approved recipes and production specifications
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Experience in maintaining production records and waste tracking
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards and equipment use
- Assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low
- Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- Handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- Relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors
- Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
- Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
