We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Baker to join Caraluzzi's Bakery team for early morning shifts. This role is pivotal in preparing fresh breads, pastries, muffins, and various baked goods each day, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction. The Baker will work in a fast-paced environment and must take pride in delivering freshly baked products that meet established recipes and stringent quality benchmarks. Early morning availability is essential, as production schedules start as early as 4:00 or 5:00 a.m., including working on weekends and holidays as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in their work area.
In this role, the Baker will operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, monitor product consistency and presentation, and assist with stocking and inventory management. Maintaining compliance with food safety standards and promoting a sanitary environment is crucial. The position requires physical stamina to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and to stand and move throughout the shift, often working in varying temperatures including freezer environments.

- Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, muffins, and other bakery products according to established recipes and quality standards
- follow daily production schedules to ensure products are fresh and available for customers

- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety standards
- organize, stock, rotate, clean, and maintain freezer inventory to ensure product quality and efficient operations
- assist with stocking, rotating, and replenishing bakery products and supplies
- work efficiently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- provide friendly customer service and assist customers as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
