Magnolia is a renowned establishment based in Waco, Texas, widely recognized for its commitment to quality and authentic culinary experiences. This company operates a popular restaurant known as Magnolia Table, which prides itself on delivering exceptional dining services deeply rooted in tradition and excellence. Magnolia emphasizes a team-oriented approach and maintains high standards across all its operations to ensure that every guest enjoys an outstanding experience. The company is dedicated to maintaining values that reflect integrity, passion for food, and a supportive environment for its employees. These values guide every facet of the workplace, from customer service to back-of-house operations, fostering a culture of respect, continuous learning, and quality craftsmanship.

The Baker role at Magnolia Table is a vital position responsible for executing recipes with precision and adhering to the priorities set by restaurant management. This role involves various tasks including baking, icing, preparing ingredients, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness. The Baker operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment where high standards of quality and sanitation are maintained throughout the day. Reporting directly to the Assistant Kitchen Manager, this position plays no supervisory role but works closely as a team player fulfilling orders and supporting kitchen operations. The role requires a thorough knowledge of recipes, kitchen standards, and the visual expectations of each product, ensuring that the final presentation meets Magnolia’s high-quality benchmarks.

Working as a Baker at Magnolia means adhering to the company’s manifesto and values, ensuring that all procedures contribute to the overall guest experience. The employee must demonstrate safe operation of kitchen equipment, comply with sanitation practices, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The job involves the physical demands typical of kitchen work, such as standing for long periods, lifting ingredients and equipment, and dealing with varying temperatures and potential workplace hazards. Magnolia offers this role with the expectation of flexibility, including working nights, weekends, holidays, and during special events as business needs arise. This flexibility and dedication are essential for maintaining the seamless daily operations of Magnolia Table, supporting its reputation as a premier destination for exceptional baked goods and culinary delights.

This position prioritizes culinary skill development and a strong work ethic, offering applicants an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team focused on excellence. With an emphasis on collaboration and mutual support, Magnolia creates an environment where bakers can refine their craft, contribute to a unique dining experience, and take pride in their role within the kitchen. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Magnolia values diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming workplace free from discrimination.
