- ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
- customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and remains flexible to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs using baking equipment
- follows recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise per company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions regarding production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- maintains operational excellence by keeping work area clean and member-ready
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- helps members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department and club by modeling high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- identifies priorities, communicates progress, and recommends improvements
- adapts to change and feedback as needed
