This position is for a Bakery Team Member at Costco, specifically responsible for preparing and baking high-volume bakery products according to Costco's specific formulas and standards. The team member will operate various bakery equipment such as proof-boxes and gas-fired rack ovens, ensuring that temperatures, humidity, and timers are set correctly for optimal baking results. They will be expected to interpret and follow detailed production sheets, use scaling and yield sheets accurately, and prepare ingredients using power equipment to efficiently produce a variety of baked goods. Production will involve rolling, cutting, shaping, and setting up pre-formed products, while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols including the proper use of cleaning guidelines and disposal methods.
