The available position is for a Pastry Cook, a vital role within the Culinary Dropout kitchen that requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. The compensation for this role ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for skilled culinary professionals. This position is ideal for candidates who have at least two years of experience in busy restaurant kitchens, possess an eye for detail, and demonstrate excellent communication and multitasking skills. The work schedule includes shifts from Monday to Saturday, with specific hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and a special Sunday shift as noted for July 26th.

The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing bread and pastry recipes from scratch, ensuring the quality and consistency of all baked goods served to guests. Attention to food safety and sanitation standards is critical in this role, alongside the ability to work clean and maintain a safe kitchen environment. The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work weekends, some holidays, and to fill in as needed to support the smooth operation of the restaurant is also necessary.
