This is a non-exempt, hourly role located in Fort Collins, with compensation ranging from $15.50 to $20.25 per hour, plus tips. The Baker reports directly to the Shift Manager and General Manager and is responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet LaMar's exacting standards. The role requires early-morning baking and production tasks, often beginning as early as 6:00 PM the day before and continuing through to 3:00 AM the next business day. Bakers play an essential role in preparing donuts, specialty pastries, icings, and frostings according to established recipes. This job also involves receiving ingredients, performing quality checks, and ensuring products are stored and displayed correctly.

Beyond baking, the Baker supports store operations by maintaining an organized and sanitary workspace, contributing to process improvements, and assisting with product finishing before store openings. Communication skills, especially in English, are important for customer interactions and operational support, although English proficiency is not required for production tasks before 3:00 AM. Bilingual applicants who can speak English plus another language are strongly preferred. This position demands strong organizational skills, professionalism, customer service aptitude, and the ability to problem-solve efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. The physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds safely, and the ability to use fine motor skills.
