Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license meeting insurance underwriting requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, taste, and smell
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to adjust vision focus and have peripheral vision
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- English proficiency not required for baking duties before 3:00 AM
- Bilingual applicants preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate with management and customers
- Ability to define problems and determine solutions
Job Duties
- Prepare donuts and specialty pastries according to established recipes
- Deliver LaMar's products safely and timely
- Take appropriate temperatures of dry and wet ingredients
- Review production schedules to determine daily needs
- Receive ingredients and supplies for production
- Cut, weigh, mold, proof, fry, and decorate donuts and pastries
- Apply toppings and finishings
- Shape dough by hand or equipment
- Stock display counters and assist with product finishing before store opening
- Retrieve products from warehouse and stock shelves
- Ensure product quality and report issues
- Detect and report defective supplies and equipment issues
- Complete production sheets and records accurately
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and sanitized work area
- Improve quality and efficiency by recommending process improvements
- Update job knowledge through training
- Clock in on time and adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
