This position at TJ Maxx Store 0265 in Eatontown, NJ, offers a starting pay range of $16.92 to $17.42 per hour. The role includes responsibilities that span across orchestrating merchandise delivery from trucks, tagging and coding merchandise correctly, maintaining clean and organized backstock areas, and supporting store-wide goals such as shrink reduction and safety awareness. Effective communication with store management and associates is vital to set and prioritize tasks, ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, and contribute to a positive work culture.   • minimum 1 year retail experience
  • at least 6 months leadership experience

Job Duties

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
  • trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • ensures associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizes as needed
