Job Description

North Italia is a well-established Italian restaurant renowned for its dedication to creating exceptional handmade Italian dishes with love and craftsmanship. From their signature Prosciutto pizza to the house specialty Bolognese, North Italia prides itself on delivering authentic, scratch-made Italian cuisine daily. With a focus on quality, hospitality, and guest satisfaction, the restaurant has built a reputation as not only a dining destination but also a welcoming workplace environment for its team members. North Italia provides a supportive and engaging atmosphere where employees can thrive, learn, and grow in their careers. The company is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse culture, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to contribute their unique experiences and perspectives. During the hiring process, reasonable accommodations are offered to applicants with disabilities, reflecting North Italia's dedication to fairness and equal opportunity.

The Back Server / Busser position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to start or advance their career in the hospitality industry. This role is centered on ensuring a clean, efficient, and pleasant dining experience for guests by managing the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas. Employees in this role are vital to the seamless operation of the restaurant, as they quickly clear and reset tables, maintain the tidiness of dining spaces, and assist the serving team in delivering outstanding service. The position provides flexible scheduling options, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. Compensation includes an hourly wage ranging from $2.83 to $7.25, with the added benefit of earning tips, rewarding employees for their hard work and guest interaction.

North Italia further invests in its employees by offering hospitality training programs designed to enhance skills and professional growth. Team members working an average of 25 hours per week or more qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and discounted meals during shifts. Employees also receive a generous 35% discount when dining in as guests, underscoring the company’s dedication to employee satisfaction and well-being.

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for Italian hospitality and excellent communication skills who genuinely enjoys providing great customer service. While prior restaurant experience is a plus, North Italia values personality, teamwork, and a strong work ethic above all. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is essential due to the physical nature of the job. Being part of the North Italia family means joining a team that celebrates collaboration, hard work, and a shared commitment to crafting the perfect Italian meal for every guest.
