This restaurant is more than just a place to eat — it's a close-knit family of servers, hosts, managers, and chefs united by a commitment to quality food and exceptional hospitality. Employees at North Italia find themselves working in a professional environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. With flexible scheduling and competitive wages ranging from $12.15 to $15.15 per hour plus tips, this opportunity offers solid pay with room for advancement.
The role available is for Back Servers/Bussers. This position is crucial to the seamless operation of the restaurant and plays a significant role in ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience. Back Servers/Bussers are responsible primarily for maintaining cleanliness in the dining area by clearing and cleaning tables, dishware, chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave. They reset tables promptly to accommodate new guests while ensuring the restaurant remains welcoming and ready. Communication is key in this role, as bussers coordinate with servers, hosts, and guests to guarantee everyone's needs are met efficiently. Additionally, this position involves thanking guests as they depart, providing friendly and warm customer service that reflects Italian hospitality at its best.
North Italia supports its employees with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage (available after a 25-hour per week average), paid time off (also after a 25-hour per week average), discounted shift meals, and a 35% discount when dining in as a guest. Training in hospitality is provided to help employees hone their skills and grow within the company. The restaurant’s culture emphasizes career growth, providing numerous opportunities for advancement and professional development, making this an excellent place for individuals seeking long-term employment in the hospitality industry or those starting fresh and eager to learn. The environment is inclusive and welcoming, with a commitment to equal opportunity for all applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences. North Italia values great personalities, teamwork, and excellent communication skills in its team members, prioritizing these qualities even above previous restaurant experience.
Joining North Italia means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive team where your contributions directly impact the guest experience. The establishment’s dedication to employee well-being, combined with the joy of working in a bustling Italian eatery, provides a fulfilling and rewarding workplace.
